Welcome To Minecraft Festival
We will announce the most important details (such as the date time, location, and projected number of Endermen who will be in attendance) a little closer to the big day.
That feeling you get just before guests arrive at your grand house party? You've spent hours sprucing up the space, changing outfits half a dozen times ("does this cape match my mood and my appearance?") cutting perfectly cube-shaped pieces of cake, and digging through your floordrobe for the first time in years ("look, there are wooden blocks down here!") It's almost time to ring the doorbell in a death-stare contest in hopes that it won't ring until everything is perfect.
We're pretty much there currently, but on a slightly larger scale and a longer timeframe! It's only February, and we're already working round the clock to prepare for Minecraft Festival at the end of September. It may sound like a lot of work, but remember - our version of a house party will be a full-on Minecraft experience that will attract thousands of people, including interactive exhibits, inclusive gameplay with fiercely competitive tournaments, intense live entertainment with exclusive merchandise, creative-inspiring panels and the chance to meet your favorite content creator or Mojang's developer. It will last for three days. We do have a few things on our minds!
Let me tell you about some of the things we're planning for you, amidst the frantic pounding and scribbling of pen, and the exploding of Creepers. Minecraft Festival is a party where you're the guest of honor! It's a celebration of the epic adventure we've shared over the past 10 years, and an opportunity to glimpse the next chapter. Do you remember MINECON Live Did you also remember MINECON Live? The worldwide live show featuring all the biggest Minecraft news? We've even integrated it into Minecraft Festival! This portion of the event is now called Minecraft Live and remains the place for epic announcements, thrilling excitement, and deep dives into the history and present of Minecraft. We'll stream it live directly from Minecraft Festival. Some lucky attendees of the festival might even be able to get a seat in our studio audience!

Are we missing something? Creepers? They are not. Canapes? Nope, not that kind of celebration. Capes! Ah, yes, capes! Every attendee will get an exclusive Minecraft Festival cape, compatible with both Java and Bedrock.
"Everyone is welcome!" says Lydia Winters Chief Brand Officer of Mojang. "We consider Minecraft Festival as a place to meet, hang out with, and learn from like-minded gamers - all within an interactive space full of exciting experiences and opportunities to discover."
That sounds great But let's get more specific! First, write down the dates of September 25-27 on your calendar or another flat surface. This is when we'll be at Orange County Convention Center, in sunny Florida. There will be exciting goings-on throughout the three days, so make it a long weekend If you can! You can also stop by for one day if you are not able to attend the three-day event.
